Into the MachoVerse
Macho was launched on June 2nd, 2024, as a derivative of $Michi. The developer had ambitious plans, and the future seemed bright. However, it wasn’t long before disaster struck — Macho was rugpulled within just a few days.
Determined not to let Macho fade away, a dedicated group of supporters quickly pivoted. They recognized the potential for something impactful: a safe haven in an otherwise cutthroat crypto landscape.
Our vision extended beyond mere survival; we aimed to assist other Community Takeovers (CTOs) and guide them toward success, fostering a network of partnerships to grow together—WAGMI style.
But then, another curveball… This time the marketing wallet was the target and got rugpulled. Some say the old dev team was behind it, trying to take the Macho community down. Was this enough to make us throw in the towel?
Not even close. One of our core community members emerged as a savior. With tAPP games reaching peak popularity, he believed this could give Macho its purpose and lead to greatness.
And it did. The beta version of the Macho game looked incredibly smooth, generating excitement leading up to the launch. On launch day, Macho’s market cap skyrocketed.
Until it didn’t. The self-proclaimed savior turned out to be a false prophet. As soon as he saw an opportunity to cash out for a small profit, he took it, crashing the chart and leaving the core team in shock and anger.
The Present
We tried to stick with the game, but limited funds and poor agreements with the developer only allowed us to get so far.
The theme of being low on funds permeated far too many discussions for far too long. What if we could resolve that fundamental issue? Then Macho would always have funds available when needed—for marketing, buybacks, and even proper game development.
The great news? We discovered it! We found the holy grail for our marketing wallet: an automated system of income streams.
We’re thrilled to conclude this brief history by announcing that Macho is set to revive and thrive now that the bad actors are gone. The community members who have been with us for over eight months are fiercely loyal, and that’s what being Macho is all about—loyalty.
